Description

Iron Valves 3D Symbol Library allows the user to easily place valves in various 3D views by selecting one of the toggles on the pulldown menu.
Valves are inserted with the valve handles on the side, top, or bottom of the valve body based on the toggle selected. 3D pipe can also be easily drawn for the size selected.

Includes 173 Valves:

Angle valves – sizes 1/4″ through 8″
Iron – flanged ends – class 125 – brand: Apollo

Ball valves – sizes 1/4″ through 12″
Iron – flanged ends – class 125 – brand: Apollo

Butterfly valves – sizes 1 1/2″ through 48″
Iron – double flange, lug & wafer – handle or gear operators – brand: Crane

Check valves – sizes 1/4″ through 48″
Iron – swing check, wafer check – class 125 & 250 – brands: Crane & Nibco

Diaphragm valves – sizes 1/2″ through 14″
EPDM Lined – Flanged

Gate valves – sizes 1/4″ through 48″
Iron – flanged & threaded ends – class 125 – brand: Nibco

Placing Valves

[Plan View] This option places the valve with the handle in a plan view or the UCS set to WCS.
To Place a valve in this position you do not need to select it first if you are in the WCS.
You will be prompted for an Insertion point then a Rotation angle.
3D Iron Valve
[Handle Up View] This option places the valve with the handle pointing up or UCS X set 90.
To Place a valve in this position select the [Handle Up View] first then select the valve.
You will be prompted for an Insertion point then a Rotation angle.
After placing the valve you may want to reset the UCS to the [Plan View]
[Handle Down View] This option places the valve with the handle pointing down UCS X set 270.
To Place a valve in this position select the [Handle Down View] first then select the valve.
You will be prompted for an Insertion point then a Rotation angle.
After placing the valve you may want to reset the UCS to the [Plan View]
3D Iron Valve Down
[ 3D Pipe ] 3D Pipe Sizes
Adds a 3D Pipe Segment based on the Size selected.
You are prompted:
Pipe Start Point: select first pipe point
Pipe End Point: select last pipe point
