The U-Bolts 2D App is now available in the AutoCAD Exchange Store and on the SoftDraft website.
U-Bolts 2D App plugin for Autodesk® AutoCAD® creates U-Bolts both Standard and Light Weight around pipes of various sizes.
U-Bolt sizes start at 1/2″ and go through 36″ and are modified by the user adding or removing sizes as required in the external data files.
The selected size is also modified using the different parameters for the U-bolt within the dialog.
At placement time a material thickness is specified by moving the cursor and selecting a point for the required distance.
Select two points for the material thickness and rotation angle and the U-Bolt is added.
